We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Strategic Information Officer
Location: Sokoto
Reports To: Strategic Information Specialist
Job Purpose
- Support timely collection, validation, analysis and reporting of complete and accurate program data at assigned sites or LGAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collate and validate routine data against source documents.
- Maintain reporting trackers, databases and evidence folders.
- Conduct completeness, consistency and duplicate checks and resolve discrepancies.
- Produce routine analyses and site feedback for performance improvement.
- Support data-quality assessments, indicator interpretation and corrective actions.
- Assist facility and program staff with reporting tools and data use.
- Protect confidential records and follow approved data-management procedures.
Minimum qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Public Health, Demography, Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant M&E/data-management experience in health programs.
Core competencies:
- Strong Excel and data-management skills, accuracy, confidentiality, analytical thinking, coaching and clear communication.
