Thoughtful House Autism Center is looking to hire self motivated and vibrant special education teachers with most of the following basic requirements:
- Applicant should be residing in Abuja.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education or a related field.
- Genuine interest in working with students with special needs and a commitment to their educational and social development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Demonstration of patience and empathy when working with students facing various challenges.
- Familiarity with basic classroom management techniques to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Eagerness to learn and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching.
Skills.
- Willingness to collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and specialists to meet the individual needs of students.
- Awareness and respect for cultural diversity and its impact on teaching and learning.
- Basic proficiency in using educational technology.
- Ability to observe student behavior, assess needs, and reflect on teaching practices.
