It also organizes life transforming programmes to engage people with the scriptures and raising of funds for its activities

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Social Media Personnel

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The social media personnel is responsible for maintaining / expanding the organization’s online community / brand values across various social media channels by actively engaging targeted audience through different forms of digital contents (vis-a-vis videos, images, infographics, text contents etc.) in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, attract partners and sponsors nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and delivery of the social media content marketing plan/calendar.
  • Analyze the performance of content based on multiple Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as unique views, conversion rates, and the average time on page
  • Co-ordinate the work of other content producers across the departments in BSN to develop content suitable for social media channels to fully engage existing and prospective audiences
  • Monitor social analytics – Check what campaigns are working (or not working) across channels for effective ROI.
  • Monitor social media channels and respond appropriately to posts / comments and identify issues that require escalation.
  • Develop and deliver social media and marketing contents/campaigns across all the social media platforms.
  • Research, generate and develop contents suitable for social media use, this includes background research on products, programmes, and target demographics.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (text, images, video, or infographics) to build stronger connections and encourage community members to take action.
  • Expand audience reach with key strategies of turning audiences into followers, followers into customers, partners and/or sponsors.
  • Optimize content for keywords and hashtags that perform in top search results
  • Proofread all contents to adhere to in-house style guide and brand voice.
  • Stay up to date with various methods to create engaging and attractive content.
  • Constantly suggesting and orientating staffers and entire organization on social media opportunities for radical operational growth.
  • Coordinate livestreaming of all programs/events across all social platforms.

Personnel Specifications

  • Applicant should possess a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be digital savvy with proficiency in social media analytics / performance metrics including reach, engagement, response rate, conversation rate, and community growth.
  • Skillful in leading social media management/marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Loomly etc.
  • Understand social media architectures and how content works on a social web.
  • Creative mindset with hands-on tooling in graphic design, video editing and imagery.
  • Excellent analytical skills (knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager and SEO is an added advantage.)
  • Must be proficient in content writing / content management.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, good communicator and a team player with ability to work flexible hours.
  • Possession of relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.
