Smile for All Children Initiative (SMILE’s) is a registered non-profit, non-political, and national non-governmental organization led by women and youth. Established in June 2022, SMILE’s is dedicated to promoting the health, education, and socio-economic wellbeing of children and their vulnerable caregivers. We operate primarily in Benue, Borno, and Yobe States, with plans to extend our reach to Northwest Nigeria.
Our mission is to create a “society where every child has a decent place to live.” We achieve this by providing and ensuring adequate protection and care for children and vulnerable caregivers through sustainable engagements with stakeholders, including government agencies, humanitarian organizations, and individuals.
Project Overview
SMILE’s has been awarded a grant by BenueAID Discretionary Grants to implement a Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Sensitization Project. This project aims to educate and raise awareness about SCD among communities in our operational areas. To facilitate this, we require highquality Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials.
Call for Expression of Interest
SMILE’s invites qualified vendors and organizations to express their interest in the procurement of IEC materials for our Sickle Cell Disease Sensitization Project. The IEC materials should effectively communicate key messages about SCD, including prevention, management, and support for affected individuals and families.
Scope of Work
The required IEC materials include, but are not limited to:
- Banners (4/6 meters): 2 pieces
- Posters (A3 size): 100 pieces
- Flyers: 53 pieces
- Roll-up Banner: 1 piece
Eligibility Criteria
Interested vendors must:
- Be a registered entity with the relevant authorities.
- Have a proven track record in producing high-quality IEC materials, particularly in the health sector.
- Demonstrate experience in working with non-profit organizations or on health-related projects.
- Have an operational office in Makurdi, Benue State.
- Provide samples of previous work related to health communication.
Submission Requirements
Interested parties should submit the following documents:
- Company Profile: Including registration details and relevant experience.
- Technical Proposal: Outlining the approach, design concepts, and timeline for delivering the IEC materials.
- Financial Proposal: Detailed budget for the production of the IEC materials.
