Job Purpose
- To provide technical leadership and oversight for protection programming, ensuring alignment with project objectives and adherence to global standards.K
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of protection strategies across project locations.
- Supervise and mentor protection staff, providing technical guidance and capacity building.
- Coordinate with UNHCR, government agencies, and stakeholders for quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor and evaluate protection activities.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local authorities and community leaders to strengthen protection interventions.
- Ensure that protection incidents and concerns are effectively documented and addressed.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in protection programming, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with displaced populations is required.
