Qualified Bidders are being invited by Rise for Humanity Development Initiative for the supply of Vaseline making Materials in Borno State.

The submission for this RFQ should include:

• A properly completed and signed hard/soft copy of the bid form.
• All documents must be submitted in English and must have the bidder’s signature or stamp on every page.
• The company’s business letterhead should also contain an introduction letter and the request for quotation (RFQ).
• A photocopy of the representative’s government-issued photo ID (such as a passport, voter ID, national ID, or driver’s license)
• Company’s most recent certificate of tax clearance and proof of tax registration
• A copy of company registration at the relevant Chamber of Commerce and an official document demonstrating its eligibility and quality from the relevant government agency

Junction, Maiduguri, Borno State

SELECTION CRITERIA 

For the purpose of choosing the bidder, RIHDI will do a technical study based on the factors listed below, which are prioritised in order of significance.

1. Technical Specification and Quality

Technical specifications and quality will be the foremost factors taken into account by RIHDI when choosing a provider. FAIL/PASS criteria will be used to base the technical check. In the event that a provider falls short of the required level of quality. RIHDI will reject the proposal.

• Reasonable Pricing

The second factor that RIHDI will take into account when choosing the most competitive supplier is pricing. Since the contract currency will be in Nigerian Naira (NGN), tenderers must quote in NGN.

• Lead time

Suppliers who propose a short and suitable lead time will be given priority.

• Previous Activities

Suppliers having documented prior experience, ideally with national or international organisations, will be given priority. (e.g., comparable operations regions, comparable value contracts, etc.).

General Conditions:

1. The request for quotation (RFQ) start date is the 19th of May, 2025, and will close on May 24th, 2025, at 4.00pm at Maiduguri head office located at Airport Roundabout, Beside DStv Office, Gomari Junction, Maiduguri, Borno State

• In accordance with the RIHDI format, bidders should complete, sign/stamp, and return the offer form.
• No contract will be awarded in response to the offer made in response to the call for bids.
• We won’t entertain late bids past the time mentioned above.
• Each participating company will be allowed to submit one final offer to RIHDI. Following the submission of their initial offer but before the closing date, vendors should indicate in their email if they intend to make an amended offer.
• Every bid must have the following details: phone number, email address, representative signature and the company’s unique company name on the stamp. The bid may be rejected if there are any irregularities.

Offer the will not be deemed eligible if:

• White ink/hand pricing adjustment is used.
• There is no signature or stamp on the document.

NOTE

All contract offers are dependent on the requirement that contractors do not appear on anti-terrorism lists in line with RIHDI donor compliance policy ensure that funds are used only for humanitarian purposes and in keeping with donor compliance standards. Given this, RIHDI reserves the right to do anti-terrorism background checks on the contractor as well as on its board members, staff, volunteers, consultants, financial service providers, and subcontractors. RIHDI is also committed to maintaining the highest standards of efficiency, responsibility, and transparency in its operations and has a zerotolerance approach against corruption and sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA).
