Background
Care Best Initiative (CBI) is a woman-led and youth-driven National Non-Governmental Organization established in 2019, operating in the North-East and North-West regions of Nigeria. CBI focuses on saving lives, alleviating suffering, and maintaining human dignity during crises and natural disasters. We execute projects across multiple thematic areas including Health, Nutrition, Education in Emergency, Protection, Food Security and Livelihood, and WASH.
Since its inception, CBI has successfully implemented numerous projects reaching over 300,000 beneficiaries across six states: Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Bauchi, Sokoto, and Zamfara.
Purpose of Consultancy
CBI is currently strengthening its systems to enhance organizational efficiency, ensure compliance with best practices, and strengthen institutional capacity. To this effect, we seek to engage a qualified consulting firm to review and strengthen our organizational policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational frameworks.
Scope of Work
The selected consultant will:
a) Review existing organizational policies and SOPs
b) Identify gaps in current policy framework
c) Develop new policies where needed
d) Update existing policies to align with current best practices
e) Create comprehensive implementation guidelines
f) Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks
g) Conduct staff training on new/updated policies
h) Provide recommendations for sustainable policy management
