Activities
- Contribute to the special issue on “Objective-oriented health systems reform: implications for moving towards universal health coverage”
- Participate in virtual and in-person meetings related to the drafting, editing and review of the special issue
- Participate as a speaker at the ThinkWell/WHO/R4D/SPARC pre-congress session: “Exploring the “means” to achieve universal health coverage in Africa: research and insights on contributory and non-contributory means of financing health care from low- and middle-income countries” on Sunday 9th July at the International Health Economics Association (iHEA) Congress [AK1]
- Support the planning and facilitation of the writers’ workshop in Cape Town, South Africa
- Draft the framing paper of the special issue, respond to peer review and editorial team feedback and prepare the final paper for submission for publication
- Coach other writers involved in the special issue by reviewing their drafts and providing feedback on drafts and during virtual check-in sessions
- Facilitation of the SPARC component of the NLDP
- Provide inputs into the training modules and the case studies
- Facilitate in-person training as allocated within the facilitation team

Qualifications
- Advanced degree in health financing
- 10+ years of experience
- Working experience in Sub-Saharan Africa
- Demonstrated track record in publishing scientific journals
- Experience in facilitation and training course development
- Strong written and oral English abilities
