Job Description:
- Acumen Digital is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall quality and reliability of software applications and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Test Execution: Execute various types of testing, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Defect Identification and Reporting: Detect and document software defects, inconsistencies, and issues using bug tracking systems.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain test automation scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze testing processes and methodologies regularly to identify areas for improvement.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test procedures, and test results.
- Compatibility Testing: Conduct compatibility testing on different platforms, browsers, and devices.

- Release Support: Participate in the release process, validating and signing off on the product’s readiness for deployment.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Proficiency in defect tracking systems and version control tools.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex requirements and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
