Hope and Rural Aid Foundation (HARAF) is a National Non-Governmental organisation focused on Humanitarian and developmental response program in Nigeria, with thematic areas across CCCM/Sheter-NFIs, Education, Food Security and Livelihood and Protection.
HARAF works with an excited team to deliver on its humanitarian and development efforts while supporting staff professional development.
HARAF is seeking qualified candidates for opportunities at Gombi and Hong LGAs of Adamawa State.
Project Officer-NFIs
- Manage the implementation of Non-Food Items (NFI) distribution projects in accordance with project plans and donor requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and distribution of NFIs to beneficiaries.
- Conduct assessments to determine NFI needs and preferences of target populations.
- Develop distribution plans and protocols, ensuring fairness, transparency, and accountability.
- Monitor NFI distribution activities to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
- Compile and analyze data on NFI distribution, beneficiary feedback, and impact.
- Prepare reports and updates on NFI projects for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience for all Positions
• Relevant experience for the different roles and demonstration of capacity to hold the position.
• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or its equivalent preferably with social sciences.
• Demonstrated experience and commitment to working in conflict affected communities.
• Fluency in English and excellent writing skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting, strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Fair monitoring and evaluation skills/experience.
• Knowledge of project cycle management.
• Deep knowledge of the environment.
