Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day field and coordination activities for Integrated Facility & Workforce Systems (Workstream 2) and Biometric Attendance (Workstream 3) in Kaduna.
  • Support foundational registry activities, including workforce roster validation, facility master list alignment, and coordination with HEFA/HRHMIS teams.
  • Facilitate biometric readiness checks, stakeholder engagements, and governance activities across priority LGAs and Centres of Excellence.
  • Maintain and update activity trackers, workplans, calendars, risk logs, and issue trackers for transparent monitoring of progress and challenges.
  • Consolidate insights from biometric validation exercises to identify operational gaps and data-quality issues for system improvement.
  • Facilitate alignment among Kaduna stakeholders, including SPHCB, Ministry of Finance, Natview, and technology partners, through task force support and follow-up on action points.
  • Document system-design workshops covering biometric technology, workflows, exception management, and system integration.
  • Coordinate pilot-preparation activities, including training, SOP dissemination, facility sensitization, pre-launch testing, and baseline dataset establishment.
  • Provide hands-on supervision during biometric pilot launches, troubleshooting devices, validating attendance logs, and ensuring SOP compliance.
  • Collect, validate, and report daily and weekly field data, ensuring accuracy of biometric enrolment and registry updates.
  • Synthesize field insights into weekly operational updates, highlighting challenges, mitigation actions, and lessons learned.
  • Support preparation of donor reports, technical briefs, and cross-state learning sessions.
  • Strengthen local capacity by coaching HEFA/HRHMIS focal persons, facility managers, and LGA staff on registry updates, biometric SOPs, and governance routines.
  • Carry out other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Digital Health, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in health systems strengthening, digital health, public- sector reform, or donor-funded programs.
  • Proven experience supporting field operations for biometric or registry systems in government settings.
