Concerned Youths for Development Initiative (CYDI) is a reputable Community Based Organization (CBO) that is programming for HIV/AIDS Intervention and other related infections, as well as Drugs Harm reduction among People Who Use Drugs in Nigeria. Since 2014, the organization has started operating in the country as an entity, and is now covering four states in Nigeria including Benue, Plateau, Ondo and Ekiti states on HIV/AIDS program in partnership with various IPs such asHAI-N, APIN Public Health Initiative, Society for Family Health (SFH), and ECWES.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Project Director
Location: Ekiti
Job Description
- The Project Director shall be responsible for the interpretation of the project design and issuance of directives for the project implementation.
- He/She shall work closely with the Project Manager and M&E Officer to develop the project plan and monitorthe project implementation.
- The project director shall ensure that all the project implementation meets the standard set by the project funder.
- The project director shall interpret results and recommendations to the PM andthe ED.
- The project director shall beresponsible for the developmentof the project improvement plan.
- The project director shall bringinnovative ideas to organization for the project implementation.
- He/She shall give updates on theproject requirements through frequent interaction with the Project implementation actors.
- He/She shall serve as advisor to the organization’s decision makers on the project.
- He/She shall represent the PM when necessary.
- Shall be answerable to the PM and the ED.
- Shall perform any other duty thatmay be assigned to him/her bythe PM or the organization’sExecutive Director (ED).
Educational Qualification
- Must have a B.Sc or equivalence. Master’s Degree or training course in project management is an asset.
Skills and Experience:
- Must have good computer applications prowess especially office tools.
- Must have good reports writing skills.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have at least three (3) years’ experience working with a KP focus organization on a similar program.
