Hope and Rural Aid Foundation (HARAF) is a National Non-Governmental organisation focused on Humanitarian and developmental response program in Nigeria, with thematic areas across CCCM/Sheter-NFIs, Education, Food Security and Livelihood and Protection.

HARAF works with an excited team to deliver on its humanitarian and development efforts while supporting staff professional development. 

HARAF is seeking qualified candidates for opportunities at Gombi and Hong LGAs of Adamawa State. 

Project Assistant

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of activities.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including logistical arrangements and documentation.
  • Maintain project files, databases, and records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in data collection, entry, and analysis for project monitoring and reporting.
  • Support in drafting project documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including beneficiaries, government officials, and partner organizations.

Perform other duties as assigned by project management.

Qualifications and Experience for all Positions
• Relevant experience for the different roles and demonstration of capacity to hold the position.
• Bachelor’s degree, diploma or its equivalent preferably with social sciences.
• Demonstrated experience and commitment to working in conflict affected communities.
• Fluency in English and excellent writing skills.
• Strong analytical, reporting, strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Fair monitoring and evaluation skills/experience.
• Knowledge of project cycle management.
• Deep knowledge of the environment.
