Role Overview
- The Programs Support Intern will work closely with the Programs Coordinator to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and documentation of IHA programs.
- This role is hands-on and operational, focused on implementation support, coordination, tracking, and quality follow-through.
Responsibilities
Programme Planning & Setup:
- Assist with setting up program calendars, session schedules, and timelines
- Help prepare program materials (task briefs, templates, session guides)
- Support coordination with facilitators, guest speakers, and moderators
- Organize program resources in shared drives (folders, naming, version control).
Programme Execution & Operations:
- Support weekly program operations and session flow
- Assist with logistics for orientations and workshops
- Send reminders, session links, and follow-up communications
- Track attendance, submissions, and participation across cohorts.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting Support:
- Maintain trackers for attendance, deliverables and milestones
- Support distribution and collection of feedback surveys
- Assist with cleaning, organizing, and summarizing feedback data.
Ideal Candidate
- Highly organized and reliable
- Strong written communication and follow-up skills
- Comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, and Forms
- Interested in nonprofit work, mentorship, education, or development
- Able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
