ORGANISATIONAL OVERVIEW
Restoration of Hope Initiative (ROHI) is a National Non-Governmental Organization based in Yola with a field office in Mai-duguri, Borno State.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Program and Partnership Coordinator will support in planning, organizing, leading, and coordinating efforts and resources to build and maintain strategic relationships with civil society organizations, government, private sector, humanitarian and development partners and mobilize necessary resources for program and policy influencing. This role will coordinate with other management teams in the strate-gic leadership of the organization.

Works Directly With: Other Coordinators and Managers
Supervisory Responsibility: Project Officers
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnership Development and Coordination:
- Support in the drafting of compelling proposals for ROHI.
- Interact with key partners in establishing partnerships and ensuring compliance.
- Ensure partnership deliverables are met and monitored periodically.
- Support in managing the communication and agreement of partnership expectations.
- Participate in coordination platforms and humanitarian clusters to advocate for better approaches for locally-led action.
- Identify new partner organizations and take the lead in conducting the appropriate due diligence.
Programme Management:
- Support in leading the development and delivery of ROHI’s projects, including follow up and reporting processes.
- Support program officers during Implementation with regular field monitoring to check progress and identify gaps.
- Increase the internal and external visibility of ROHI by developing and sharing learning and case studies.
- Assist in developing and monitoring work plans and budgets, as well as associated deliverables and results/outputs.
- Prepare, coordinate reviews, edit, and disseminate project-related reports and documents.
Organizational and Staff Development:
- Provide support to staff in developing and implementing organizational development plans.
- Support the development and implementation of ROHI strategic plan.
- Work with Management to identify individual staff and teams training needs and ensure access to training and professional development resources appropriate to their skill gaps/needs.
- Take the lead and work closely with the communication unit, in the creation of activities and visibility packaged to attract and secure increased resources for ROHI.
REQUIREMENTS
A graduate of any social studies discipline, preferably post-graduate (masters or higher) Degree in development studies – specializing in a development-related discipline.
- Must have cognate experience in the same position or related in the field of humanitarian or other sectors, including field and management experience.
- Possess strong evidence of influencing decisions and policymakers, and brokering crossdisciplinary collaboration.
- Provide a proven record of accomplishment of leadership within an international organization
- Must be a compelling influencer and communicator – able to inspire, build consensus and bring people together around a common agenda.
- Possess experience in working with a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrate expertise in designing, implementing, and monitoring programs
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills, collaboration experience, creativity and willingness to innovate.
- Experience in drafting project reporting and monitoring project progress.
- Experience in managing people and ability to build, develop and motivate a high performing team, prioritizing effective cross-organizational working as a key element of high performance.
- Experience in managing budgets and planning and reporting protocols. • Upholds and demonstrates ROHI’s values and Code of Conduct.

- Team-orientated, versatile, personable and flexible.
- Ability to work comfortably and sensitively across cultures.
- Provides good and adequate administrative support to enable the project to meet its agreed program outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal communications is an asset.
- Fluency in English required.
