Programme Coordinator at Community Health, Justice and Peace Initiative for Development (JDPH)

The Justice Development Peace and Health is a program of the Catholic Ecclesiastical Province of Jos. The program was set up to Coordinate, develop appropriate structures, offer required services, and improve the system of social development already existing in the Dioceses since 1970.

Location Adamawa , Yobe.

The Programme Coordinator will be required from time to travel to communities in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states.

Contract Duration:   2 years

Location: Borno, Adamawa and Yobe

Responsibilities

  •  Prepare and submit detailed monthly work plan for the various units of the project. 
  • Coordinate the implementation of Projects in a timely manner and be responsible for its technical oversight in line with JDPH policies and practices.
  • Provide input for the development of technical reports and other project outputs. 
  • Design and develop databases to support Project implementation activities. 
  • Liaise and coordinate activities with the relevant sectors and departments to support the implementation of Projects. 
  • Prepare or assist in the preparation of grant requests and funding continuation from donors.

Qualification

  • Bsc. In Economics, Business Administration. A certificate in Project management is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 4 to 5 years working experience with a Nongovernmental organization.
