Sanctuary of Hope foundation SOH is a youth funded, and founded NGO in Nigeria, implementing programs in women and children advocacy, youth empowerment, drug rehabilitation and other programs. We work in partnership with AU, ECOWAS on several projects across the federation which include but not limited to Youth4peace and security, Youth vanguard among many other across the continent as a whole. We are looking to set up our branch in Maiduguri and are looking for our maiden staff there.
We are recruiting to fill the below positions
Job Title: Program officer Volunteer & Project officer Volunteer
Location: Maiduguri
Employment Type: Volunteer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Within delegated authority and with the use of project management methodologies, manage and/or coordinate the management of all projects listed above as well as others authorized by the NGO.
- Personally coordinate or handle all non-technical aspects of all of the abovementioned projects.
- Plan, organize and contribute to the execution of all projects related meetings including but not limited to the Meetings.
- Contribute to or lead the planning, mobilization, deployment and management of resources for the projects.
- Work with Heads of other partner NGO’s to galvanize active engagements and support.
- Collect and define requirements, objectives and scopes in order to inform appropriate project planning.
- Ensure that the projects adhere to local and regional regulations by seeking and acquiring appropriate approvals from authorities.
- Contribute to or lead on the preparation of comprehensive plans with related required resources, timeframes, budgets, and risks management mechanisms for multiple projects.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships amongst stakeholders.
- Develop and operationalize issues and risk management plans.
Specific Work Experience: Entry level Experience required

Language Requirements:
- Candidates must speak and write fluently in English and one of Hausa/Kanuri. Must have excellent written, presentation and reporting skill.
