Job Title: Program Officer I, Graphic Design
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Job Summary
- The Graphic Design Officer will be responsible for ensuring quality graphic design products are developed and deployed across BA-Nigeria’s media channels in coordination with the program’s technical units.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination with BA-Nigeria’s design agency for any graphic design work.
- Undertake creative design work to meet the needs of BA-Nigeria programmatic units, including social media
- Coordinate with the Knowledge Management Unit to ensure proper online storage of graphic design materials and retrieval as necessary.
- Inspect print materials that contain graphic designs for quality and consistency to the design work.
- Coordinate with the M&E unit and Media Unit to undertake pretesting of any design work at the community level, including development of pretesting tools as required.
- Provide support to programmatic research processes such as Human Centered Design and Behavior Economics at the state level.Represent Breakthrough ACTION at ACSM Subcommittee meetings and similar partner forums as required.
- Other duties as identified by supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of an HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Social Sciences or Health Sciences.
- 3 – 5 years experience in a professional setting with responsibility related to graphic design
- High level of proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or similar design software packages.
- Working Knowledge of MS Office Packages and database software and applications
- Well-organized, with the ability to track multiple activities and deadlines
- Ability to work successfully in a cross-cultural, team-based environment.
