For the current Global Fund Grant Cycle (GC7), Alayahbi is partnering with Network of People
Living with HIV/AIDs in Nigeria (NEPWHAN) the sub–recipient, on the community and
private-public mix expansion in TB and HIV prevention, diagnostic and treatment services (N
THRIP) grant. The GC7 approach includes, but not limited to people-centered services, where
clients are valued as equal partners and served by integrated and client-centric differentiated
service delivery (DSD) approaches; community engagement; sustainable transformation,
achieved through partnership with GoN and CSOs/CBOs who assume ownership of accountable
and evidence-based services enhanced by continuous quality improvement.
The Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) play a vital role in grassroots-level interventions
and possess invaluable local knowledge and networks. However, the role of the CBOs would not
be complete without the services of credible personnel. This calls for the need to engage credible

with the Country’s direction on integrated community-led monitoring.
