We seek to employ a dynamic and innovative person who has experience working in different Value chains across Nigeria and Africa. Someone who can work collectively with host communities, design home-grown solutions that improve the livelihood and resilience of the communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving clients daily to their desired destinations.
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks and arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
- Delivering packages to clients (if any) in a timely manner.
- Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
- Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
- Interacting with clients in professional conduct.
- Working at night and on weekends if necessary.
- Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
- Log all trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing etc daily.
- Ensure timely conveyance of staff and materials to and from places as instructed by supervisor or the manager.
- Ensure that vehicles are kept perfect and clean at all times.
- Report any case of accident, injury or damage of vehicles to the supervisor or manager
- Keep all records, including receipts for vehicle maintenance
- Keep up a travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hour
- Adhere to all the local traffic laws
Required skills & Experience
- A valid drivers’ license
- 3 years of cooperate driving experience
- No records of traffic violation
- Ability to work without supervision
- Team player
- Great interpersonal communication skills
- Must be within 25-35 years
- Extensive knowledge of the operating area
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency using GPS devices.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations
- Valid state drivers’ license
- S/he must be focused, confident, and observant
- S/he must be ready to work for long hours and open to traveling.
