About FRAD
Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with the
corporate affairs commission (CAC) with No CAC/IT/NO/139393 in accordance with the Nigerian Law
in 2019. The organization was established with the sole aim and objective to promote social service
through community development projects that ensure meaningful access to services for people in need.
The organization also aims to build the Resilience of vulnerable populations, especially women and
children to create a safe space for them to feel safe, and free from all forms of harm. We aim to reduce
illiteracy through various education programs to ensure children are supported to go to school remain in
school and become good citizens.
Position: Procurement/Logistic officer
Job Type – Contract
Qualification – BA/BSc/HND
Experience: 1-3 Years
Location: Borno
Job Summary:
Procurement processes processed and completed, Procurement work plan tracked and implemented, Fleet
Management, Asset Management and tracking, coordination meetings and Trainings and career
development.
Duties and Responsibility
 Ensuring that procurement is carried out in accordance with FRAD and donor-specific polices.
 Attend all the procurement committee meetings internally and logistics sector meetings on
monthly basis.
 Work with FRAD with Finance, Admin, and program departments to ensure integrated internal
controls, timely payment of vendors and full, auditable support documentation for program
continuity at all times.
 Follow FRAD procurement policy to ensure that a transparent and responsive procurement process
is implemented and maintained.
 Routine communication, coordination, and planning with the relevant requesting staff/programs
regarding the order and delivery of supplies.
 Ensuring that all Supplies, services, and equipment required are delivered in time.
 Ensure all FRAD procurement has value for money
 Establishment and maintenance of ethical, professional working relationships with suppliers,
volunteers, government and FRAD staff
 Develop vendor database, maintain supplier information for regularly purchased items and be
informed of current local market conditions.
 Support and provide the appropriate trainings for procurement and program staff as required.
 Manage FRAD logistic and procurement assistants to ensure they do their job adequately
 Advice the management on procurement processes and raise concerns where there are issues to be
resolved by management.
 Any other duties or tasked delegated by Program Manager/Executive director
Requirement:
• B.sc in Business Management, Administration, Logistics studies
Experience and technical competencies:
 2 years’ experience in Procurement, Logistics and administrative management in the
humanitarian sector.
Desirable skills:
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft word, Excel Power points
• Proven success in designing, implementing, and operating all procurement plan for all the project
in organization initiation to close out
• Experience in planning and managing all logistic aspect of the organization
• Communication skills (English, Hausa and Kanuri is added advantage)
