Creative Youths Initiative (Crea8 Africa) is a youth-focused social impact organisation committed to empowering young people through creativity, innovation, technology, entrepreneurship and inclusive development. We design and support initiatives that help young people build practical skills, access opportunities, develop sustainable livelihoods and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Our work spans youth development, digital and technology skills, entrepreneurship, creative industries, inclusion, advocacy, training and community development. We also explore partnerships with organisations, businesses and institutions to create opportunities that connect young talent with employment, learning and impact. About the Role

  • Wer are seeking a proactive and organised Operations Support Officer to help coordinate day-to-day activities, keep projects on track and strengthen the organisation’s internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and delivery of programmes and projects.
  • Maintain task trackers, schedules, records and organisational documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups and team communications.
  • Support volunteer onboarding, engagement and coordination.
  • Assist with research, planning and administrative tasks.
  • Monitor project timelines, actions and deliverables.
  • Identify operational gaps and suggest practical improvements.
  • Support the team with other activities required for effective operations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong organisation and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, dependable and comfortable working independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and project management tools.
  • Interest in youth development, social impact, innovation or community development.

Commitment:

  • Approximately 5–8 hours per week. Unpaid volunteer position.
