Description
- To supervise and coordinate day-to-day plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous production in line with set targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily plant operations and monitor equipment performance.
- Allocate tasks and oversee operators, helpers, and shift personnel.
- Ensure smooth running of production processes (crushing, screening, conveying, processing, etc.).
- Monitor process parameters and make adjustments to optimize performance.
- Enforce compliance with safety standards, permit-to-work, and company policies.
- Report any operational issues, breakdowns, or process deviations to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, production reports, and handover notes.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- Diploma / HND / B.Sc. in Engineering, Mining, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in plant or mining operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of plant equipment (crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, etc.) and process flow.
- Experience in shift operations and production monitoring.
