The Wellbeing Foundation Africa – Founded in 2004, The Wellbeing Foundation Africa (WBFA) was created with the aim of improving health outcomes for women, infants and children whilst working towards the systemic and structural changes in the areas of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Gender Equality and Opportunity (GEO).

Key Responsibilities:
Policy and Research Support:
- Conduct research on policy issues related to maternal, newborn, and child health.Assist in drafting policy briefs, reports, and advocacy materials.
Advocacy:
- Support advocacy initiatives and stakeholder engagement efforts.
- Assist in coordinating events and activities related to WBFA’s advocacy goals.
Programme Assistance:
- Support policy integration across WBFA programmes.
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluation efforts related to advocacy activities.
- Administrative and Communications Support:
- Maintain policy and research databases.
- Assist in internal and external communications related to policy work.
Example Deliverables:
- Conduct research to support policy recommendations.
- Assist in drafting policy briefs or reports.
- Support the organization of advocacy workshops and events.
- Maintain accurate records of policy developments.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for advocacy initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Public Health, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in policy research, advocacy, or related administrative support.
- Strong research, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
