Duties and Responsibilities
- General Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, ensuring they are clean and free of debris. Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance.
- Trash Removal: Emptying waste bins and disposing of trash in designated areas. Replacing trash bags and ensuring proper waste management practices are followed.
- Surface Sanitization: Wiping and disinfecting surfaces such as desks, tables, countertops, and door handles to maintain cleanliness and minimize the spread of germs.
- Restroom Maintenance: Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, sinks, mirrors, and other restroom fixtures. Restocking toiletries and supplies like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Kitchen/Break Room Cleaning: Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen appliances, countertops, sinks, and tables. Washing dishes and ensuring the kitchen area is clean and organized.
- Window and Glass Cleaning: Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to ensure a streak-free and clear appearance.
- Dusting and Cobweb Removal: Removing dust from surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
Clearing cobwebs from corners, ceilings, and other areas.
- Replenishments: Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies and consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and trash bags.
- Adhering to Safety Standards: Following safety guidelines and using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the Management.
- Periodically clean the compound to keep it neat and tidy.
- Reporting time to duty post: 8:00am
- Any other lawful duty as may be assigned.
Note: work days shall be Mondays to Friday except when a public holiday is declared by the Federal Government of Nigeria, or management communicate otherwise.
Expected deliverables to qualify for payment:
- Time sheet
- Summary report of task carried out.
Required Skills and Qualification:
- Knowledge/experience in cleaning and sanitizing rooms to varying levels to meet requirements.
- Willingness to learn new cleaning methos and use various pieces of equipment.
- Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate staff needs.
- Ability to take constructive criticism, listen to guidance to ensure cleaniness and sanitization standards.
