Main role and responsibilities

The Country Logistics Manager assists the Country Logistics Manager in the management of the’achats chain intended for the implementation of the program in the country, by, as well as in the cross-cutting management of logistics such as fleet management, fuels, premises, goods and communications. He/She shall ensure compliance of all logistics operations under his responsibility with the logistics procedures of’Acted and the donors, and, best practices and national regulations with a focus on the value principle of’argent. He/She will also have to provide technical support and contribute to the skills development of the country’s Logistics teams. The Country Logistics Officer may also replace the CLM in his absence.

Main responsibilities

1. Contribute in a timely, efficient and transparent manner to the management of the country’s’achats chain

  • Purchases
  • Stocks & delivery
  • Traceability

2. Contribute to ensuring in a timely, efficient and transparent manner the cross-cutting management of Logistics in the country :

  • Fleet and transport management
  • Fuel management
  • Property management
  • Management of premises
  • Communications & IT Management

3. Ensure compliance of all logistics operations under its responsibility with the procedures of donors and’Acted and actively promote the Logistics procedures :

4. Contribute to the implementation of safety and security guides, SOPs and plans

5. Contribute to the strengthening of the skills of the’Team Logistics

Qualifications and skills required

  • At least 1 or 2 years of’experience in logistics management, supply chain management or equivalent ;
  • Ability to train, mobilize and manage a team ;
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and in a versatile way ;
  • Autonomy, leadership, organization ;
  • Experience abroad would be an asset ;

Conditions

  • Salary defined by the Acted salary grid according to the level of’studies,’expertise, the level of safety and the level of experience : between 1500 and 1700€ monthly net (before income taxes)
  • Monthly living expenses allowance 300$
  • Guesthouse accommodation and food supported by Acted
  • Social security, mutual insurance (MSH) and repatriation assistance (SOS International) supported by Acted
  • Transport to the mission and return ticket fully supported every 6 months (to the’address specified on the employment contract)
  • Visa fees supported by Acted
  • One week of preparation for departure including 4 days of immersion safety training
  • Possibility of’having a call of 30 minutes with a consultant in taxation
  • Psychological support (meet with a professional.le)
