ORGANIZATION: Centre for Social Awareness, Advocacy and Ethics (CSAAE)

POSITION: Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Officer (MERL)

LOCATION: 77 Mbaise Road, Owerri, Imo State.

The Centre pursues its vision through three programs:

  1. Socioeconomic Program.
  2. Advocacy Program.
  3. Ethics Program.

DUTIES:

  • Development and implementation of CSAAE’s organizational Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, and Learning systematic framework and procedures.
  • Develop project MERL implementation plans, including mid-term project review, impact assessment, final evaluation, etc.
  • Develop CSAAE M&E SOP.
  • Develop reporting templates for project staff.
  • Provide support to communications team, and develop templates for success story development.
  • Develop project performance monitoring strategies and plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results.
  • Develop project results chain and results measurement systems.
  • Develop project SMART quantitative and qualitative indicators
  • Measure/develop baseline data for project indicators.
  • Develop data standards and ensure quality of all organization/project data collected (audit worthy).
  • Develop data collection methods.
  • Collation, review and analysis of collected data.
  • Any other M&E duties as required.

Eligibility

  • Resident in Owerri/willing to relocate.
  • Bachelor’s degree/HND in any field.
  • Must have completed NYSC.
  • Data Analytical skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be outspoken.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must have at least 2 years’ experience as an MERL officer in an NGO.
  • Must possess good organizational skills.
  • Good research skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
