Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer

Job Summary:
CWI is looking for an experienced M&E Officer to support the development and implementation of monitoring tools, data collection, and reporting frameworks across our education project.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement M&E frameworks, tools, and systems that align with the education project’s objectives and donor requirements.
- Lead baseline, midline, and endline assessments to track learning outcomes, access to education, and project impact.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data on students, teachers, and learning environments.
- Produce timely monitoring reports and contribute to donor and internal reporting with evidence-based findings.
- Build the capacity of project staff and partners on data collection, reporting, and the use of M&E tools.
- Provide practical recommendations to improve education delivery, learner engagement, and overall project effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, with a strong background in education-focused projects.
- Demonstrated skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting using education indicators (e.g., enrollment, retention, literacy, and learning outcomes).
- Proficiency with qualitative and quantitative research methods and M&E software/tools.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
