Job Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Knowledge Management Specialist

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the successful execution of knowledge-sharing events including periodic seminars/webinars, workshops, conferences, and peer learning sessions.
- Ensure that relevant project experiences (including success stories), outputs, and lessons learned are captured, documented, and disseminated, in line with best practices.
- Responsible for the collection and reporting of the program data across supported sites and all data management activities including reviewing, validating, and conducting completeness, consistency, and relevancy checks on all data.
- Support distribution and monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual progress and performance analysis for program implementation and monitoring.
- Support the development of training material, job aids, and IEC Materials for the project.
- Work collaboratively with program staff to identify and prioritize types of knowledge to develop and capture.
- Maintain processes to ensure knowledge management efforts inform decisions during project implementation.
- Support documentation of lessons learned, best practices, and proven innovations in program design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting to improve program design and implementation strategy.
- Provide support to program staff to develop presentations and other media to highlight our work to stakeholders and meet project requirements.
- Work with the project team to develop and publish research papers and other scientific publications.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Health Communication, public health, or relevant field.
- A Master’s Degree would be an advantage.
- Experience in RMNCH programs/projects and knowledge of the RMNCH Landscape in Nigeria would be an advantage.
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position and setting.
- Familiarity with principles of Implementation research, organizational learning and development, and their link to social change.
- Vast experience in monitoring and evaluation and Knowledge management is desirable.
- Demonstrated understanding of knowledge management principles and capacity to deliver knowledge management and/or organizational learning activities.
- Ability to translate technical information into practical guidance and tools and effectively communicate these using print, electronic, and presentation media.
- Sensitivity to cultures and social systems, and genuine interest in capacity building responses to development issues.
- Fluency in English. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Co-Authorship of conference papers or published research would be an advantage.
