M&E Enumerators (67 Position) At Malteser International

Malteser International is the relief agency of the Sovereign Order of Malta for humanitarian aid. With over 100 projects annually in some 25 countries throughout Africa, Asia, and the Americas, we provide emergency relief after disasters and support recovery efforts with a focus on sustainable development. For our projects in Borno and Adamawa States, we are looking for qualified candidates to work as:

Job Title : M&E Enumerators
Job Location : Borno – (Jere and MMC) and Adamawa – (Numan, Sheleng, Guyuk, Lamurde, Yola South and Girei).
Accountable to : MEAL department
No. of Position : 67 (7 in Maiduguri, and 10 in each of the above mentioned LGAs in Adamawa State)
Salary : Gross Salary in Local Currency
Contract duration : 4 Months, renewable
Starting date : As soon as possible
End date : 31/12/2023

Main responsibilities

  • Conduct data collection using KoboCollect and MWater in the selected locations.
  • Play a key role in the mobilization of community respondents for the survey.
  • Review filled data collection tools to ensure completion and quality of data.
  • Provide guidance and clarifications at data analysis stage regarding collected data as needed.

Your profile (Eligibility Requirement)

  • Applicants must be resident of or familiar with the titled location.
  • Qualifications in the fields of the Social Sciences or related courses.
  • 1 – 2 Years experience in similar position is an asset, preferably with an INGO
  • Proven skills in the use of mobile devices for data collection.
  • Experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative research in Nigeria is an asset.
  • Experience working in the selected communities and a good understanding of the local dialects is a must.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis using participatory methodology.
  • Possess a degree of flexibility to work and availability to respond to comments and questions in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Strong command of English and Hausa, especially ability to write high quality, clear and concise reports.
  • Previous experience working with Malteser International is an added advantage.
