Key responsibilities:
- Provide support to ensure equipment security and assistance to users;
- Supervise the buildings, rehabilitation and maintenance needed for the functioning as well as the living conditions;
- Supervise the necessary repair to the office space, carried out internally or by the means of external service providers;
- Ensure that all systems are protected for the security of personnel and equipment;
- Ensure that ACF buildings comply with the Energy standard (diagnosis and recommendations);
- Ensure supply maintenance of the electricity from the distribution network until the plug’s sockets and appliances;
- Prepare the driver schedule under his/her responsibility according to the number of vehicles to manage, and update the schedule depending on the demand and constrains trends;
- Centralize the inter-base travel requests and plan the movement with the core logistics core;
- Regular follow up on the outer and inter-base movement progression;
- Ensure that daily and weekly controls are performed on all vehicles and generators;
- Plan regular maintenance of the vehicles and generators;
- Control the adequate equipment of the vehicles depending on their use;
- Plan and control the fuel management;
- Plan equipment renewal within the equipment budget line in consultation with the Logistics HOD;
- Travel to the bases to support the teams and control the local fleet management and energy standards;
- Update the attendance log of the vehicles daily;
- Update the fuel log and price log as necessary: carburation, repair, maintenance;
- Complete the report for the Fleet Management for the vehicles and generators monthly.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering sectors;
- Minimum of 3 years’ extensive experience in logistics management of facility, fleet (vehicles and generators), and asset, preferably in humanitarian or development work;
- High level of Integrity and transparency;
- Excellent people management skills combined with the ability and desire to further develop staff capacity;
- Strong organization and management skills and ability to coordinate a diverse range of people and responsibilities;
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload, using initiative when appropriate and demonstrate good judgment;
- Possess strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
- Effective multitasking skills with ability to coordinate and handle pressure/stress well;
- Flexible, able to live and work in a stressful and insecure environment.
