At Plan International Spain , we are looking for a Project Technician with a passion for humanitarian action. This role will be key to ensuring excellence in the management and monitoring of our emergency and humanitarian aid projects, focused on child protection, education and gender equality, guaranteeing a sustainable impact in the communities we work with.
Your Mission
- Ensure the technical and economic quality of the projects executed by our implementing partners in different countries.
- Ensure compliance with internal and international standards and donor requirements such as AECID, EU/ECHO and the United Nations.
- Contribute to the positive and sustainable impact of our interventions, aligned with our mission and values.
Your Main Functions
- Comprehensive project management: Oversee technical and financial execution, including audits, evaluations and closure.
- Reporting: Prepare and validate technical and financial reports in accordance with donor and Plan International standards.
- Ensure quality: Design action plans, manage risks and implement improvement measures.
- Collaborative work: Coordinate with internal specialists in formulation, monitoring, evaluation and learning to optimize the impact of projects.
- Strategic relationships: Represent the organization before donors and participate in key working groups.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Law, Administration, Economics or related fields.
- Master’s or postgraduate degree in international cooperation, humanitarian action or human rights.
- At least 5 years managing projects in NGOs, with 2 years of field experience.
- Experience with bilateral and multilateral donors such as AECID, EU/ECHO and the UN.
- Knowledge of project cycle management, monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Experience in humanitarian action (child protection, education in emergencies, gender, risk reduction).
- Projects focused on livelihoods for youth and women.
- Focus on gender and social inclusion.
