Job Purpose

  • The Human Resources Assistant will support the day to day operational management of and Human Resource tasks and activities ranging from coordinating recruitment interview processes, collation and timely update to employee leave records and ensuring all staff prepare and submit timesheets which informs payroll input for each pay period.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Will provide support for processing routine personnel-related transactions, will be responsible for recruitment processes; (CV screening, interview coordination, support for on-boarding efforts and documentation),
  • Responsible for contacting shortlisted candidates to attend interviews; preparation of interview materials, reminders to interview panelist etc.
  • Ensure all information required in each staff personnel folders are complete and updated
  • Support the leave management process, ensure timely update of the leave tracker and file documents.
  • Support in collating all staff monthly time-sheets and ensure proper filing
  • Managing enrollment and enlistment of health insurance for staff and any follow up to complaints on quality of service by Health Maintenance Organizations/providers.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Degree in Social Sciences or Management with a minimum of 2 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
  • Must have basic knowledge and familiarity with USG rules and regulations as they pertain to human resources and administration;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A team player with ability to manage multiple task and demands.
