Project Scope:
This project will directly target persons with disabilities, their family members and other community structures, the state and local government ministries, departments and agencies, Civil Society Organizations including Organization of People with Disabilities (OPDs), Women and girls, Community Health Workers and community members in BORNO state.
Core Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Talent Management: Advising on attracting, selecting, and retaining top talent, including staffing strategies.
- Legal Compliance & Risk Mitigation: Ensuring adherence to disability law, labour laws, updating policies, and handling legal risks.
- Training & Development: Designing and delivering programs for skill enhancement, leadership, employees training and career growth.
- Employee Relations & Culture: Mediating conflicts, improving communication, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Compensation & Benefits: Developing effective reward systems, pay structures, and benefit plans.
- Policy & Procedure Development: Evaluating, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Strategic Planning: Aligning HR strategies with overall business objectives, including succession planning.
Key Skills:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HR software (ATS, Payroll)
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields. Masters degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Experience working with organisational software and systems.
