The Gallant Empowered Nation is an organization established to address the challenges faced by young people by providing a platform for engagement, learning, and collaboration. It equips youths with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to become agents of change in their communities through dialogue, mentorship, and strategic engagement, helping them understand their potential, identify opportunities, and create actionable pathways for personal and national development.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify local and international grant opportunities relevant to youth development and empowerment.
- Write compelling grant proposals, concept notes, and funding applications that reflect the organization’s goals, programs, and impact on young people.
- Ensure all grant proposals align with donor guidelines, timelines, and youth safeguarding standards.
- Maintain a grants calendar to track deadlines, reporting requirements, and funding cycles.
- Edit and review proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and strong storytelling focused on youth impact.
- Track grant performance and funding outcomes to support organizational learning and improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
- Previous experience in grant writing or proposal development is an added advantage.
- Ability to interpret donor requirements and align them with organizational goals.
- Good understanding of development, youth empowerment, public health, or social justice work (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Passion for nonprofit work and community development.
