Position: Grant and Partnership Technical Intern
Education: B.Sc. in Accounting or Finance and any other related social science course

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support Grant Proposal DevelopmentÂ
Assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing grant proposals, ensuring alignment with donor guideline and objectives.
Collaborate with program teams to gather relevant data and input for proposal submissions.
- Documentation and Record KeepingÂ
Maintain organized records of all grant proposals, contracts, reports, and correspondence.
Ensure that documentation is easily accessible and complies with organizational and donor requirements.
- Partner CommunicationÂ
Facilitate communication with partners, including sending updates, coordinating meetings, and addressing inquiries.
Ensure timely responses to partners regarding project implementation and reporting.
- Capacity Building SupportÂ
Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions and workshops to strengthen partners’ capacity.
Provide technical support to partners to help them meet grant requirements and improve performance.
- Financial Report ReviewÂ
Support the review and analysis of financial reports submitted by partners to ensure compliance with budgets and grant agreements.
Assist in tracking grant spending and preparing financial summaries for management.
- Monitor Partner ProgressÂ
Track the progress of partners’ activities in line with project goals and grant timelines.
Assist in preparing progress reports based on data collected from partners.
- Compliance MonitoringÂ
Ensure that partners comply with donor regulations, including financial management, reporting, and procurement standards.
Conduct spot checks and review documentation to verify adherence to grant agreements.
- Data Analysis and ReportingÂ
Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from partner reports and monitoring activities.
Support the preparation of narrative and financial reports for internal review and donor submission.
- Administrative SupportÂ
Provide day-today administrative assistance, such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing events.
Assist with logistics for donor visits, partner meetings, and other related activities.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Accounting or Finance and any other related social science course
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the related field
- Relevant experience working in the Humanitarian sector is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office suites
- Fluency in English and other local languages
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
