The Africa Leadership Forum (ALF) is Africas premier civil society organization. The forum grew out of the need to assist in improving the capacity and competence of African leaders to tackle development challenges confronting Africa. The establishment of ALF was not fortuitous.

Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Gender and Policy Research Lead located in Abeokuta.
- The Gender and Policy Research Lead will be responsible for conducting thorough policy research, analyzing data, and developing reports and recommendations.
- Day-to-day tasks include gathering and synthesizing information, developing and maintaining research databases, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
- The role also involves collaborating with various teams to ensure the integration of gender perspectives into policy and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Strong Policy Research and Research skills
- Excellent Analytical Skills and Economics knowledge
- Outstanding Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Experience in gender studies or related fields is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields such as Public Policy, Economics, Gender Studies, or Social Sciences
