General Objective
AHAI seeks a seasoned Finance Manager to lead financial management, planning, and reporting, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and donor reporting
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and risk management
- Lead audit preparations and ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to management
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Oversee financial reporting, accounting, and compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and donor reporting
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and risk management
- Lead audit preparations and ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to management
- Supervise finance team and build capacity
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and laws
- Manage grant management and financial tracking
- Oversee procurement and asset management
- Identify and mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with program teams on budget planning and financial monitoring Requirements- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- 5-7 years of financial management experience
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CCF, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and donor requirements
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills Desired Skills- Experience in NGO or humanitarian sector
- Familiarity with Nigerian financial regulations
