Job Description:
- Will report directly with the Field Team Lead while working closely with the Project Associate, Program Manager, and other team members to understand the project goals and to meet expectations.
- Plan and organise field activities with the project team which includes training and capacity building and outreaches.
- Carry out in-depth field research on small businesses and their way of operations in Lagos, Nigeria.
- Recruit participants for the E-bookkeeping project
- Contribute to information-sharing and data management systems by collecting, recording, and analysing data.
- Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibilities as and when needed.
- Contribute to the positive image and overall credibility of the organisation, notably through the application of the organisation’s Code of Conduct.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work, International Development/Relations, Public Administration or other relevant fields of study.
- Two years’ experience in program design and implementation, in a similar role, will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in local languages preferably Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and English languages is a must.
- Have excellent oral and written expression skills in English.
- Proven knowledge and experience in developing and implementing community mobilisation projects and stakeholder engagement.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the environment (Lagos) and the people, including culture.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement, to remain flexible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Demonstrate willingness to work in a team.
- Applicants must reside in Lagos within areas close to any of the following areas; Alimosho, Idumota, Ladipo, Trade fair, Alaba, Jakara, Arena and Oshodi
