Job Title: Field Distribution Officer

Overview

  • Solardero Foundation is seeking a dedicated and proactive Field Distribution Officer to join our team. This role involves traveling to different communities to distribute solar lighting solutions, engage with local stakeholders, and ensure the effective implementation and use of our solar systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for making a difference in underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Distribute solar lighting solutions across different communities.
  • Train community members on the use and maintenance of solar energy systems.
  • Engage with local stakeholders, including government officials, parents, shopkeepers, religious leaders, and community leaders.
  • Document and report on distribution activities and community feedback.
  • Continuously seek innovative ways to reach underserved areas.
  • Maintain detailed records of distribution activities and contacts.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
  • Technical proficiency in solar energy systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel safely within the region.
  • Good reporting and documentation skills.
  • Own a smartphone and be comfortable using it for work tasks.
