We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Field Credit Officer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Disbursement and collection of loans for a Microfinance Institution
- Conducting thorough credit assessments of potential borrowers
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure timely repayment
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with lending activities
- Meeting targets for loan disbursement and collections
- Providing excellent customer service to clients
Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE, NCE, ND, HND, or BSc degree
- Proven experience in a similar role is an advantage
- Knowledge of financial principles and lending practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in local languages is a plus
