Job Summary
Act as the organization focal point in absence of the Program Manager at the field, the field Assistant (conduct activities as instructed by the program manager provides administrative assistance to other Program team and handle several administrative support and maintain high confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities (Day to day activities)
- Performing support tasks and fieldwork
- Managing the procurement process of materials
- Liaising between workers and managers
- Overseeing work progress
- Maintains confidentiality of all information of the organization at the field level; Develop and maintain accurate filing system for the team.
- Coordinates with the community volunteers during while discharging their day to day activities.;
- Assists team members on inputting and editing project reports on weekly and monthly basis.
- Supervise community volunteers handling various project in locations and perform any other tasked assigned by Monitoring and evaluation Officer.
- Maintain all office properties at the field and supplies ensuring they are safe from theft.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of Diploma in related field.
- Strong understanding of Hausa and Kanuri Language
- Possess computer skills with at list two years’ experience (having a personal laptop will be a plus).
- Should be multitasking and can work with little or no supervision.
- Should Possess excellent written and verbal skills in English including ability to use Microsoft office packages.
- Be willing and able to travel regularly to field sites and monitor activities. Be flexible and able to work within a multicultural team.
