Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) for emergency relief and development. SIF operates with strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion, and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the world’s most deprived populations.
Assignment
Attached to the Department of International Programs and Operations (DPOI), you will work under the authority of the Desk Manager and in close collaboration with the DPOI operational teams.
Your main missions will be the following (non-exhaustive and evolving list):
- Contribute to the development of the operational strategy and operational strategies for the area’s missions.
- Coordinate the development of programs (logical framework, narrative, budget, etc.) for the Desk.
- Coordinate the preparation of funding requests and reports due to institutional donors.
- Ensure the implementation of M&E indicators.
- Ensure monitoring of implemented programs and operational and financial partnerships of the missions.
- Provide the interface between field teams and support services at headquarters.
- Ensure the correct application of SIF procedures on missions managed by the Desk.
- Stay tuned to humanitarian developments in the geographic area.
Profile
- Required diploma: Bac+5 in international relations, humanitarian project management or equivalent diploma.
- 2 years minimum experience in project management in the field.
- Skills in humanitarian project management and coordination.
- Knowledge of the project cycle, support tools (problem tree, solution tree, project monitoring and evaluation tools) and the geopolitics of the intervention areas.
- Knowledge of institutional donors and mastery of their procedures (European Union, AFD, United Nations Agencies, State Cooperation, Foundations, etc.).
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Autonomy, sense of priorities and time management.
Terms
- CDI, full time.
