Job Purpose:

  • We are seeking responsible and experienced Drivers to join our team at ETG Beyond Beans Foundation. The ideal candidates will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of staff, materials, and official documents while adhering to organizational policies and traffic regulations. The role requires punctuality, professionalism, and strong knowledge of road safety practices.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport staff, guests, and goods to various destinations as assigned.
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, in good condition, and regularly maintained.
  • Conduct daily checks on vehicle fluids, tyres, lights, brakes, and fuel.
  • Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a logbook for every trip including fuel usage and mileage.
  • Ensure compliance with traffic rules, road safety regulations, and organizational driving policies.
  • Follow the approved travel schedule and communicate any changes or delays.
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods or materials.
  • Ensure all vehicle documents (registration, insurance, roadworthiness, etc.) are up to date.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination) or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • At least 3 years of proven driving experience, preferably in a corporate or NGO setting.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical skills.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and follow schedules.
  • Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps is an added advantage.
  • Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
