The Planned Parenthood Federation of Nigeria (PPFN) is a national non-governmental organization promoting Reproductive Health (RH) in Nigeria. As a full member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), PPFN has expanded the scope of its programs beyond family planning to cover broad reproductive health, emphasizing the needs of adolescents and young people and safe motherhood.
We are recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Director of Programmes

Location: Abuja (National Headquarters)

Responsibilities
- The purpose of this position is to organize and coordinate the initiation, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of PPFN Projects and to strengthen the capacity of the regions and other partner NGOs to improve their effectiveness in responding to local community sexual and reproductive health needs.
Requirements
- Master level Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience including five years’ managerial position in an NGO (preferably in SRH) Excellent contextual, analytical, writing and oral communication skills
- Team building and leadership skills, qualities/ experience and
- Familiarity with key national international implementing, support and donor organizations in SRH
- Strong computer literacy skills including presentations
- Sensitive and caring but firm and decisive in managing both junior and senior-level staff.
