Job Description
- Dev-Afrique is seeking a dynamic full-time consultant who has relevant experience in in policy, governance, research and strategy. The role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of public policy, industry regulations and development, contributing to impactful project across various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Lead monitoring, reporting and obtaining policy documents (i.e. laws, regulations, standards, guidelines, circulars, directions, etc.) across the African continent.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on policy, political and governance-related issues that could affect our clients in Nigeria and Africa.
- Lead end-to-end planning and implementation of projects in Nigeria and across Africa.
- Support in drafting communications materials such as, policy briefs and newsletters.
- Infer and present research findings in clear and concise reports, briefs, and other formats.
- Play an active role developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and maintain industry awareness
Requirements
- Advanced degree in law, policy, statistics, political science and other related field
- Minimum of five years of experience with policy analysis or regulatory affairs.
- Familiarity with the policy and regulatory landscape in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with research and analysis tools, as well as computer software programs (spreadsheets, word processors, databases, and statistical packages).
