Role Description
- This is a volunteer Community Volunteer role that involves working with our team and beneficiaries to support our programs in Lagos.
- This is a hybrid role that requires some in-person work in Lagos and flexibility for some remote work.
- The Community Volunteer will engage in various activities such as mentoring, educational support, community outreach, event planning, and social media management, and will report to the Program Manager.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for community service and making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children and youth
- Ability to plan and execute events effectively
- Understanding of social media platforms and experience managing social media accounts is a plus
- Experience in mentoring, educational support, or community outreach is a plus
- A degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field is an added advantage.
