Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) was founded by Comrade Edem Edem in collaboration with other youths from the area as a youth based NGO, called Abgremo for Development in 1997. Over the years the organisation has grown and engaged with other development partners.

Under the BHA-funded Integrated Lifesaving Assistance Project implemented in partnership with Save the Children International, GREENCODE seeks to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children through the establishment and management of Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) in Nganzai.
We are hiring qualified CFS Facilitators to deliver structured recreational and psychosocial support activities for conflict-affected children.
Job Purpose:
Facilitate structured activities at Child Friendly Spaces to provide psychosocial support and learning opportunities for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate daily activities for children at the CFS, including play, learning, and life skills sessions.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for children of all backgrounds.
- Identify and refer vulnerable children to Case Workers or other services as needed.
- Support in creating child-friendly materials and organizing age-appropriate games and storytelling.
- Monitor attendance and participation and ensure a welcoming environment for all children.
- Engage with caregivers and communities to encourage CFS utilization.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, preferably in humanitarian or emergency settings.
- Knowledge of child rights and child protection principles.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and local languages (Hausa/Kanuri) preferred.
- Passionate about child development and play-based learning.
