Description
- At Solardero Foundation, we believe in empowering communities — one stitch at a time.
- We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Bag Maker to join our team in Jibowu, Lagos, producing quality school bags that help keep children learning and moving forward.
- We are open to both full-time and part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Cut, sew, and assemble school bags according to provided designs and specifications
- Operate sewing machines and hand tools accurately and safely
- Inspect finished products for quality and make corrections as needed
- Manage materials efficiently to minimize waste
- Meet agreed production targets
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
Skills & Requirements
- Education: FSLC or equivalent; vocational training in tailoring or bag making is an added advantage
- Experience: 1 – 5 years in a similar role
- Proven experience in bag making, leather work, or garment/textile production
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines
- Good eye for detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow patterns and work to specifications
- Honest, punctual, and team-oriented.
Remuneration
Competitive, based on experience and arrangement (full-time or part-time).
