1. Program Associate

As a Program Associate, you will support the design, planning, and coordination of consulting projects and programs. You will work closely with the consulting team to ensure timely delivery of assignments, manage client communications, and track project milestones. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support program design, planning, and implementation.
   1. Develop and maintain work plans, timelines, and progress reports.
   1. Assist with client relationship management and ensure effective communication.
   1. Coordinate meetings, workshops, and virtual engagements.
   1. Contribute to documentation, learning, and knowledge-sharing activities.

• Training Associate

The Training Associate will design, coordinate, and deliver capacity-building initiatives. You will play a key role in developing training content, facilitating workshops, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs to ensure impactful learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and adapt training materials and toolkits.
   1. Facilitate training sessions (virtual and physical, where applicable).
   1. Support training needs assessments and curriculum design.
   1. Collect feedback and evaluate training outcomes for continuous improvement.
   1. Maintain training records and prepare training reports.

• Research and Communications Associate

As a Research and Communications Associate, you will drive knowledge generation and dissemination by conducting research, preparing briefs, and managing communications. You will be responsible for producing evidence-based content that positions Henak Consulting as a thought leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct desk and field research, including data collection and analysis.
   1. Prepare reports, briefs, and knowledge products.
   1. Draft content for social media, newsletters, and blogs.
   1. Manage the firm’s communication channels and engagement strategy.
   1. Support documentation of lessons learned and case studies.

General Requirements (All Associates)

1. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
   1. 1–3 years of relevant work experience (consulting, nonprofit, or private sector).
   1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
   1. Proficiency in MS Office and digital collaboration tools.
   1. Ability to work independently and deliver results remotely.
   1. Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and impact-driven work.

WORKING CONDITIONS

1. This role is based at HENAK CONSULTING’s Abuja office (onsite), with regular working hours.
   1. Fully remote role (with periodic physical retreats or client meetings if required).
   1. Flexible work hours based on deliverables.
   1. Requires a personal laptop and strong internet access.
   1. Willingness to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
   1. Occasional weekend work may be required based on client priorities.
